Day 1: Welcome to Medellín
Upon landing at Medellín’s José María Córdova International Airport, you’ll be greeted by our private transportation and whisked away to a luxurious five-star hotel in the vibrant heart of the city. After everyone settles in and has a chance to unwind, we’ll ease into the evening with a gourmet dinner at Alambique in the famous Poblado neighborhood.

Day 2: Medellín City Tour
After a relaxed breakfast at the hotel, we will begin our vibrant city tour. Our morning will include visits to Botero Plaza and Medellín’s botanical garden. Following a traditional lunch, we will continue with a guided walk through the famous Comuna 13, a neighborhood known for its complex history and striking street art. If time and energy permit, we will also visit the Museum of Modern Art before concluding the day with dinner at another of Medellín’s exceptional restaurants. The tour will feature a comfortable mix of light walking and travel by private transportation.

Day 3: Tour de Oriente
Today, we will enjoy an early breakfast at the hotel in preparation for a 9:00 a.m. departure for the “Tour de Oriente.” Traveling in private transportation, we will explore several charming, traditional towns just outside the city. Our visits will include El Retiro, La Ceja, San Antonio de Pereira, and El Carmen de Viboral, where we will experience local architecture, art, and cuisine. San Antonio de Pereira, in particular, is renowned for its plaza filled with unique desserts. Lunch will be enjoyed at a local restaurant in one of the towns, depending on our schedule. After a full day immersed in regional culture, we will return to the city and dine at a restaurant near the hotel.

Day 4: Jericó
Off to the mountains! After breakfast, we will aim for a 9:00 a.m. departure and begin the stunning three-hour drive to the mountain town of Jericó. Set amid scenery that feels straight out of a Jurassic Park film, Jericó is celebrated for its vibrant architecture, lively central plaza, and warm, welcoming locals.
Upon arrival, we will head directly to our private villa to settle in before going to lunch at Ecoland, one of the town’s paragliding launch sites and home to a gourmet restaurant. Guests interested in paragliding may book a tandem flight for the same day or the following.
After lunch, we will enjoy a leisurely afternoon exploring the town’s enchanting botanical garden and charming cobblestone streets. For dinner, you may choose between a home-cooked meal at the villa or dining at a local restaurant.

Day 5: Jericó - Hiking and Coffee Farm Tour
We will begin our only full day in Jericó with a home-cooked breakfast at the villa, featuring a selection of fresh, local fruits. Our first activity will be a relaxed 2–3 hour hike, offering sweeping views of the surrounding landscape and plenty of time immersed in the jungle (this hike can be modified depending on fitness/energy levels). After refueling with a hearty Colombian lunch in town, we will visit a local coffee farm for a guided tour. This experience will showcase the care, dedication, and craftsmanship behind every cup of coffee, and may even include a tasting.
For dinner, we will once again have the option of preparing a meal at the villa or dining out, depending on the group’s energy and preferences.

Day 6: Jericó - Santa Fe de Antioquia
Our final morning in Jericó will begin with a relaxed breakfast at the villa, accompanied by a symphony of birdsongs. After loading the van and checking out, we will head to the paragliding launch to enjoy its relaxing views and ensure that everyone who wishes to fly has the opportunity.
We will then set off on the approximately two-hour drive to our next destination, Santa Fe de Antioquia, stopping along the way for a traditional lunch. Founded in 1541, Santa Fe de Antioquia is a historic town known for its cobblestone streets and colonial architecture. Our stay will be at Hotel Tonusco Campestre, which features a pool, bar, and restaurant.
After settling into our new surroundings and enjoying some time by the pool, we will head into town for dinner. Santa Fe de Antioquia offers an array of restaurants showcasing high-quality Colombian cuisine.

Day 7: Explore Santa Fe de Antioquia
Today will begin with a leisurely morning and breakfast at the hotel, followed by a guided cocoa farm tour in the nearby town of Sopetrán. Led by the family who operates the farm, the tour will offer an in-depth look at the care and craftsmanship behind producing fine chocolate. Lunch is included, and the visit will span the full morning.
Upon our return to Santa Fe de Antioquia, the afternoon will be yours to enjoy at your leisure—whether strolling through town or relaxing at the hotel. Dinner will be at your discretion, depending on your preferences and energy level.

Day 8: Santa Fe de Antioquia - Medellín
After breakfast at the hotel, we will conclude our time in Santa Fe de Antioquia with a visit to the famous Puente Colgante de Occidente, a historic suspension bridge that was the longest of its kind in South America when it was completed in 1887. After taking time to walk across the Cauca River and capture some photos, we will begin our return journey to Medellín along the historic highway. This route winds through small mountain towns and offers stunning views of several waterfalls.
We will stop for lunch at a restaurant situated at one of the highest points on the drive, providing a dramatic panorama of the city below. Upon arriving in Medellín, we will check back into the same hotel where the tour began, before heading out for a festive finale dinner at Mamacita. For those interested, we will end the night with salsa dancing at a club conveniently located next to the restaurant!

Day 9: Time to Return Home

If you cancel the trip 30 days or less before the start of the trip, there will be no refund. Travel insurance may cover you for any cancellation reasons covered by your plan.
